Now called The Big Easy Casino. We liked this casino and went 2x, first on 4/29 and then on 5/3.There are several eateries. The larger of the bar areas had good food with a lot of choices.We ate there also 2x.This place was def.more lively than Dania Beach Casino.We would come back again if in the area. Daily - 9am to 4am. Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is currently operating at 50 percent capacity per the state’s directive and features a reduced number of slots, table games, live racing with onsite wagering, and simulcast wagering.
Live racing with spectators has returned to Wheeling Island! We have self-betting terminals along with several windows open with mutual tellers available to take bets.The concessions stand remain closed but we are offering grab-and-go selections on the racing side. The racing side entrance has reopened during races. This entrance will maintain the same entry guidelines as our main entrance. Please note that the racing apron is currently closed.
(WSAZ) – Playing safe. Ahead of its June 5 reopening date, the Mardi Gras Casino & Resort has released new health standards to keep guests and employees safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Mardi Gras Casino (831 N. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, 954-924-3200, MGFLA.com) is reopening this week, after being damaged by Hurricane Irma in September. At least, the casino is partially.
The Betly Sportsbook is now open.
The Lucky North® Club has limited hours, and food and beverage options are also limited to grab-and-go selections from the Sports Bar.
The Pointe Sea & Steak restaurant, food court and buffet are currently closed.
We are excited to share that we have opened our hotel for a limited number of rooms. The hotel is open Thursdays thru Sundays. At this time, bookings are only managed through our player development department. We look forward to opening more rooms very soon.

We have a cashier available in the Sports bar. The simulcast room is open with social distancing in effect. The patio is not open. At this time, there will be limited seating available at the First Turn Restaurant. Food and beverage service will not be open at the First Turn. Food and beverage options will be available at the Sports Bar. Please note that all guests must be 21+ to attend any races.
